Description

Martin’s Nutgrass Eliminator, manufactured by CSI, is an excellent selective herbicide that eliminates the toughest emerged broadleaf weeds, sedges, and nutgrasses in lawns and other landscaped areas without harming desirable ornamental foliage.

This product contains the active ingredient halosulfuron 5.0%, the same ingredient used in sedgehammer, which works to safely interfere with the enzyme of the undesired weed causing cell division to cease and prevent the root and shoot growth of unwanted weed.

Martin’s Nutgrass Eliminator is an easy to use herbicide that often works in one application.

Safety Information

Martin’s Nutgrass Eliminator is safe to use around children or pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing or applying this product.

Do not enter or allow worker entry into treated areas during the restricted-entry interval of 12 hours.

Do not allow people or pets into treated areas until the product has dried completely.

Special Considerations

Annual and perennial herbaceous ornamentals, including color plants, may be injured when transplanted into landscaped areas treated with Martin’s Nutgrass Eliminator.

To help avoid overapplication in spot and broadcast treatments, we recommend you use a marking dye like Vision Blue or Vision Pro Max. These products are temporarily colorants used to indicated where you have sprayed. When mixed into your spray solution, your application will leave turf a deep blue color, reminding you where you have sprayed so you know not to apply there again.
