Acer palmatum var. atropurpureum ‘Bloodgood’ – upright form; deep, reddish purple leaves; bright red fall foliage.  One of the most cold-hardy Japanese maples.

Growth requirements: part-sun; leaves will scorch in summer heat if in full-sun, avoid planting in westerly winds.
