Description

Picea abies – Norway Spruce – medium to fast growth rate; pyramidal, branches become pendulous with age; hardy and disease resistant.  Produces long cones.

Growth requirements: full-sun; prefers well-drained, moist soils with no standing water; somewhat drought tolerant when established

Mature height: 40-60 feet (sometimes up to 100′)

Mature spread: 25-30 feet
